Dr. Ashwini Kumar Banerjee is a UK-trained Consultant Gastroenterologist with dual accreditation (CCT) in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine from the UK's General Medical Council (GMC), and a European certification (FEBGH) from the European Union of Medical Specialists.
With over 15 years of clinical experience in the NHS UK, including a Consultant post at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust—a regional hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) center serving a population of 1.6 million—Dr. Banerjee brings advanced expertise in the management of complex digestive and liver disorders. His special interests include pancreatobiliary medicine and interventional endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS.
Now based in Dubai, Dr. Banerjee has served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at leading healthcare institutions including American Hospital Dubai, Mubadala Health, Emirates Hospital Group, and Valiant Clinic. He currently offers comprehensive gastroenterology and hepatology services across multiple locations in Dubai, combining international standards of care with a patient-centered approach.
